Hey Larry, it was so great to see you yesterday! Thanks for stopping by.
It sure was noticable while we were at this Peddler's Fair how the economy is affecting people. We didn't have near the traffic on Hwy 41 that we usually do. At all the past Fairs they have had an officer at the cross walk to direct traffic and make sure no one gets run over. There was no officer this year, a lot less traffic and a lot fewer shoppers.
Vince, I think the way Winopair does it is....they just drink a little extra wine and everything appears to be more organized! LOL At least it works for me.
Ellie, good luck on your test...not that you will need it. I know you will ace it!

Good morning all. Let's hope we don't go around setting any more records like we did yesterday. 110 is just wayyyyy too hot to have any fun. I'm so glad I live ABOVE the valley so we stay a tad cooler.

I loved watching all the fun with the Martini contest! Something like that would be great. But I'm not good with coming up with new ideas. Maybe we could have a 'best exotic drink' contest. Or the most original way to serve a drink...personal service would count. So hat dispensers and the like would qualify. :)

Lee, I'm glad to hear your weather has been good. I wondered if the big storms out that way were affecting your travels. We have friends in Indiana who have major water damage. And, of course, no flood insurance. :(
I think, due to high diesel prices, we will just set up camp in our front yard for a while. We'll just move the goose's wading pond over there and put our fire pit out there and pretend we are in some exotic camp site. :)

Wow, this was an amazingly wet and cold weekend. The highlight of the day was when None other than Larry stopped by our booth and visited for a while. Terry also saw Veggieman and his wife out walking around the vendors. It was a fun and somewhat profitable weekend. :)

Kathy, I love Tahoe. We stayed there a couple of years ago. Plan to go back in, hopefully, the not too distant future. Breathe in an extra breath of fresh air for us! :)
